Find Sage Intacct partners
Sage Intacct is sold both directly by Sage and through accounting-firm partners (VARs). Partner-led deals often include implementation and ongoing advisory from the same firm — which is valuable if the firm knows your industry, and expensive if it doesn't. Nonprofits especially should insist on a partner with real fund-accounting implementations, not just Intacct certifications.

The Sage Intacct partner selection guide
Questions to ask every firm
- 1.How many nonprofit (or our-industry) Intacct implementations has your team personally done?
- 2.Which Intacct modules do you consider unnecessary for organizations like ours?
- 3.How many implementations have you completed for organizations our size and industry — and can we call two of them?
- 4.Who exactly will be on our project? Ask to meet the consultants, not just the sales team.
- 5.What does a typical budget overrun look like on your projects, and what causes it?
- 6.What happens after go-live — support model, response times, and hourly rates?
Red flags
- ✗ Quotes a fixed price before seeing your chart of accounts and entity structure
- ✗ Pushes every module in the catalog into the first phase
- ✗ Can't name a customer in your industry who will take a reference call
About partner tiers
Sage partner tiers (up to Diamond) reflect sales volume and certifications — useful signal, but a smaller specialist with deep vertical focus often beats a big generalist for nonprofit work.
